EcoVadis awards Cosun Beet Company Platinum medal
After five successive years of being awarded the EcoVadis Gold medal, Cosun Beet Company has been honoured with a Platinum medal for 2020. This is the highest possible rating and, with a score of 73 out of 100, puts Cosun Beet Company in the top 1% of all participating companies. We are very proud that our sustainability efforts have been recognised and rewarded with the highest possible medal.
EcoVadis independently rates the CSR performance of companies against 21 indicators in four themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. All indicators are weighted to produce a final score. In the past, there used to be three rating levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold. This year EcoVadis has added a Platinum medal.
EcoVadis rates hundreds of companies in the supply chains of dozens of multinationals every year and benchmarks them against each other in defined categories. Cosun Beet Company is rated in the category "Manufacture of other food products".
